Basketball Shooting Drill: Steve Nash Drill

With this drill you practice shooting as many balls as you can in a minute, at game speed.

Every shot should be taken off an inside foot pivot (foot closest to the basket).

Catch the ball low and finish high after your shot.

How to perform the drill:

Player takes a shot and gets his own rebound at full speed. Player then takes a few dribbles out, pivots off his inside foot and sets up for another shot. Repeat this process for a full minute, at full speed.

Keep track of how many shots each player makes and award points for each shot that is made. Turn it into a game and the player with the most shots made (points) wins that round.
